Right — been using this thing for something like six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an each way return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at super heinz bet and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference is the geekier bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. Its design looks pretty plain — not much frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If anyone still does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
