So — have been messing about with this thing for about four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an e/w payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at calculadora matched betting — free, no signup.

The thing that really changed how I bet were the geekier bits. The implied probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. The interface is pretty plain — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
