So — been using this thing for maybe five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I could never work out what an ew return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at matched betting automatcher and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.
It’s not perfect mind. The layout is pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, barely any ads, works. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
